Buffalo Blue Cheese & Asparagus Wraps
Cheese Recipe Ingredients
- 150g Buffalo Blue Cheese
- 12 slices of thin white bread
- 150g soft cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 x 300g packet of frozen asparagus
- 50g Melted Butter
Cooking instructions
- Mix the Buffalo Blue cheese, soft cream cheese and egg together.
- Remove crusts from the bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
- Spread the slices with the blue cheese mixture.
- Place one piece of asparagus on a bread slice and roll the bread up around the asparagus.
- Place the rolled slices into freezer bags and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
- Remove rolls from freezer, brush with melted butter.
- Place asparagus rolls on baking sheet and bake in oven for 10 minutes until bread is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
- Serve whole or cut into bite size pieces.
- Makes 12 wraps.
