Buffalo Blue Cheese & Asparagus Wraps

Cheese Recipe Ingredients

  • 150g Buffalo Blue Cheese
  • 12 slices of thin white bread
  • 150g soft cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 x 300g packet of frozen asparagus
  • 50g Melted Butter

Cooking instructions

  1. Mix the Buffalo Blue cheese, soft cream cheese and egg together.
  2. Remove crusts from the bread and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  3. Spread the slices with the blue cheese mixture.
  4. Place one piece of asparagus on a bread slice and roll the bread up around the asparagus.
  5. Place the rolled slices into freezer bags and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
  7. Remove rolls from freezer, brush with melted butter.
  8. Place asparagus rolls on baking sheet and bake in oven for 10 minutes until bread is lightly browned and cheese is melted.
  9. Serve whole or cut into bite size pieces.
  10. Makes 12 wraps.
