Christmas may only be a few weeks away but planning our festive collections and making sure all our cheeses are perfectly mature in time for the big day, begins super early for our team. 

One thing we have been working on perfecting in the run up to the festive season is our new, very special, limited-edition Shepherds Purse & Friends gift selection - which we hope you're going to love as much as we do!

Designed to be the ultimate cheeseboard in a box this Christmas, it’s a love letter to British artisan cheesemaking and showcases our own Harrogate Blue, Buffalo Blue and Olde York alongside two cheeses from some of our favourite fellow artisans; Baron Bigot from Fen Farm Dairy in Suffolk and Vintage Clothbound Cheddar from Devon based Quicke’s.

We’ve also included Sourdough Crackers from Peter’s Yard and a Red Onion & Port Marmalade from fellow Yorkshire producers Rosebud Preserves. These award-winning artisan accompaniments are a staple of our own cheeseboards and pair perfectly with this selection of handcrafted cheeses.

A love letter to British artisan cheesemaking 

As part of this very special collection, we’ve also worked with a local craftsman from the Yorkshire Dales to create a bespoke serving platter to go alongside it too.

Handcrafted from oak, they’ve been thoughtfully designed to fit this collection of cheese and accompaniments perfectly. Featuring a subtle engraving of the Shepherds Purse logo, each board is slightly different due to the beautiful nature of the wood we’ve selected.
