Not Feeling Blue - Feeling Delighted!

I recently purchased the gift box of Blue Cheeses for my husband for Valentine's Day. What a hit they have been! They were beautifully presented in the gift box. Love the creamy crumbly texture and taste. Bought the half moon so I must like it ! Cut into portions and have some to friends who are also in love with it now. Found it freezes well, although it is recommended not to.

A great Blue Cheese

This is a premium, medium-firmness blue cheese. We thoroughly enjoy it. I also enjoy the challenge of being able to separate the sealing sticky label from the delicate foil wrapping without tearing either. Very satisfying when you succeed.

Just delish!

It started with the amazing eco friendly packaging - my cheese delights were delivered chilled but cosy in their wool coat. I loved all the cheese, can’t choose a favourite (like my children ;)) the one that surprised me the most was Katy’s lavender, I had it pegged as tricky to find use for but my goodness it was great in a salad as suggested but also it was mouth watering melted with some honey on fancy toast and crumbled on a pork chop - yum!

OUR CHEESEMAKING PROCESS

Tucked in the Vale of York, between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, is the farm where Shepherds Purse cheeses are being made by hand ... every day of the week.

The same family farm where it all started over three decades ago, our dedicated team are buzzing away from very early in the morning until tea time each day, fuelled by the passion (and proper Yorkshire Tea) to create our world-class, unique cheeses.
