Katy's White Lavender is a gem because it is a unique cheese. The balance of lavender and sheep's milk is just right. Lovely on some good-quality crackers.
Ordered the waxed half moon salad cheese for a friend, unfortunately the courier was a day late delivering and the box was open on arrival. This is not the fault of Shepherds purse but the courier, however Shepherds Purse replaced the cheese and sent a small pack also which I gave to another friend who adores cheese. I cannot fault the cheese or the customer service! I always buy Shepherds Purse cheese and I highly recommend!
I first discovered this fantastic cheese during a factory tasting session, courtesy of Booths. Definitely recommend and flavours not too strong. Great with fruit, honey and of course quality crackers.
My First Buffalo Blue from Shepherds purse from Waitrose Counters !!
I tasted this buffalo Blue last year from Shepherds purse, introduced for the first time in Waitrose counters, It is amazingly creamy, with a sharp blue tangy and salty twist in taste. I used to put in for customer tastings along with Peter Yards crackers. All my customers' loved it and enjoyed it to the best.
A smooth tasting blue cheese with a milder finish than, say, Harrogate Blue. Northern Blue is sweeter, but has the 'blue' character that Shepherds Purse imbue in all their cheese. We loved it and will buy again.
