Cheese feast

I love Shepherd’s Purse cheese so much! Northern Blue and Old York are particular favourites. Shame they’re not readily available but ordering is easy and they are delivered well.

What a treat!

Having seen the item on Channel 5 A week on the Farm about sheep milk we decided to buy the Blues and Fettle experience cheese selection, wow what a treat. We started with the Fettle as a salad cheese as an alternative to a a Mediterranean cheese. It is brilliant, firmer in texture and a bit less salty but excellent. Mrs Bells Blue (ewes milk) and Buffalo blue are similarly excellent And a well balanced after dinner cheese. We have tried the Bluemin cheese as a lunch with crackers and chutney, so flavoursome and satisfying. We bought the same experience for some friends who have been similarly delighted. This has been such a taste experience we will be back for more.

So Tasty Cheese

We met the Shepherds Purse team at the Great Yorkshire Show. We had had the cheese before and enjoyed the chat. Late summer, we were visiting my sister in Hampshire and decided to have Yorkshire Blue and Harrogate Blue delivered. Neither of them disappointed. We had a lovely tasting session and I can’t wait to place my next order. Fabulous, lovingly made cheese.
