They thought we were bonkers. Yet the unlikely pairing of cheese and lavender makes a mind-blowingly delicious cheese.

Made with ewes’ milk, we roll the cheese in dried lavender flowers. Left to mature over a number of weeks, the delicate lavender flavour infuses the creamy, crumbly cheese to stunning effect. It launched in 2003 and with its unique balance of flavour, Katy’s White Lavender is fantastic on any cheese board and delightful in salads too.

Great service and products

We only bought this just to make a reasonable sized basket. We liked it but didn’t love it. This was different from our other choices. We love Mrs Bell’s salad - and the Yorkshire Blue was new to us but we loved that too.

Interesting cheese

Katy's White Lavender is a gem because it is a unique cheese. The balance of lavender and sheep's milk is just right. Lovely on some good-quality crackers.

Fantastic Unique Flavour

I first discovered this fantastic cheese during a factory tasting session, courtesy of Booths. Definitely recommend and flavours not too strong. Great with fruit, honey and of course quality crackers.

I purchased the Lavender Sheep’s cheese as a gift for a dinner at Fishmongers Hall, it was very well received and sent without any issues .
