Baked Mrs Bell’s Salad Cheese Sharing Platter

The perfect party centrepiece, this baked Mrs Bell’s Salad Cheese is easy to make and can be adapted to your taste. Drizzle with honey straight out of the oven and enjoy with your favourite sweet and savoury accompaniments.
Baked Mrs Bell’s Salad Cheese Sharing Platter Recipe

Ingredients
- 150g Mrs Bell’s Salad Cheese
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- 80ml runny honey
- 3-4 figs, quartered
- 2 tablespoons pistachios, chopped
- 2 thyme sprigs, plus extra to garnish
- Accompaniments: Stag Water biscuits
- Cranberry and raisin toast crackers
- 4 mini cucumbers, halved lengthways
- 50g mixed olives
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
- Place the Mrs Bell’s Salad Cheese in a small ovenproof dish that will fit on your board.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 6 mins or until the cheese is springy to the touch but not melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with the honey. Arrange the figs around the cheese, sprinkle over the chopped pistachios and bake everything for a further 10 mins.
- Remove and season to taste with black pepper and garnish with the thyme sprigs.
- To assemble, put the dish of baked feta in the centre of a heatproof board (wooden is good). Arrange the crackers, toasts and cucumbers around the cheese along with the olives. Garnish with the remaining thyme sprigs.
