Bluemin White is described by our customers as a "blue brie-style cheese". Made from Yorkshire cows’ milk, and matured in our carefully managed ripening stores, it develops a velvety blue rind and ripens gently from the outside in. When ready, the cheeses are wrapped and moved to the next store to develop their rich, nutty flavour and amazing melt-in-the-mouth texture. Developed in 2010 by Katie Matten (née Bell) on our family farm, Bluemin White picked up a three-star Great Taste Award in 2013, which placed it in the top 125 tasty foods in the country, it then went on to win a Super Gold at the World Cheese awards in 2015 and further Gold medals and Super Gold medals since.
