A lovely mild flavoured cheese that compliments salads whether mixed leaf or comprising a single salad item such a ripe English cherry tomatoes. We also enjoy it in a salad with roasted pumpkin and ham, eg. Serrano, English or Prosciutto.
As always service is great, it’s friendly and the staff work hard at looking after their customers. The cheeses are very good and there isn’t one that our family dislikes. The awards the cheeses receive are well deserved and it’s a credit to all the staff.
Came across this cheese whilst dining out & enjoyed it so much we just had to buy some. Ordered direct and received a sample of a further cheese so what’s not to like?
I have tasted many blue cheeses over the years but none as good as Harrogate Blue.
You have managed to get a cream background with the blue characteristics without a taste of bitterness many blue cheeses have.
AS a yorkshire man my self I know yorkshire is best.
