A firm favourite in the Bell family home, Bluemin White is rich and creamy little wheel of pleasure.
Described by our customers as a "blue brie-style cheese", Bluemin White is made from the best quality Yorkshire cows’ milk, and matured in our carefully managed ripening stores, it develops a velvety blue rind and ripens gently from the outside in.
Once the little truckles ("trucklets" if you will) have ripened to perfection in the first store, the cheeses are wrapped and moved to the next store to develop their rich, nutty flavour and amazing melt-in-the-mouth texture. Developed in 2010 by Katie Matten (née Bell) on our family farm, Bluemin White picked up a three-star Great Taste Award, which placed it in the top 125 tasty foods in the country, it then went on to win multiple Super Golds and Golds at the World Cheese awards Gold at the British Cheese Awards.
