When we asked Lottie if she could create us a nut-free Fruit Cake she said "yes, let me have a think of exactly how to make the very best nut-free fruit cake and I'll get back to you". I'm pleased to say that Lottie was triumphant! We received the samples and they quickly disappeared! Moist, rich and indulgent - just as the very best fruit cakes should be. They even passed our "Dad test" - Dad is the fussiest of Christmas cake and mince pie connoisseurs, and this cake has his seal of approval!
