Collection: Gift Selections

Purchased a selection of Shepherds Purse cheeses on the strength of a significant recommendation and, overall, have loved each of the cheeses. To be brutally honest I did not find the Mrs Bell's Blue to be as creamy, or as 'exciting' on the tongue as expected. Perhaps I should have left it for a few days before tucking in?? However, the cheese that was certainly the stand-out purchase was the Harrogate Blue. That has everything I was looking for. A glorious cheese that will certainly be purchased again. Overall they are a superb collection of cheeses and I will certainly be spreading the word and ordering more for friends and family.

Cheese was delicious as always. Rich and creamy. No other cheese can match the Yorkshire Blue. Will be be ordering shortly for some more. Hmmmm

Bought this cheese and was highly delighted with its taste & texture. Highly recommend this product which is up to the standard I’ve come to expect from this producer. All the cheeses I’ve bought have been outstanding.

Amazing taste

I tried this for a change as I usually buy the blue cheeses. It was really lovely cheese with a fresh, slightly salty but not too much and was perfect in salad lunches this week

Simply gorgeous - the most delicious cheese. Ordering was seamless and the cheese beautifully packaged.

Tangy and moist this is a delightful table cheese. Try to serve and keep at room temperature.
To keep it moist it is kept loose in a plastic bag ,in a cheese box.

We want to do the Harrogate Blue & Spinach Potato Gratin recipe . But Mrs Bell could you come up with a lower fat option? Perhaps the double cream could be substituted with something lower in fat. The Hairy Bikers seemed to have lots of ideas for doing this so maybe you could get some help there. We like to get our fat intake purely from your gorgeous cheeses!

Loved the Bluemin White. We didn’t eat the rind.Is it edible? We didn’t cook the cheese so weren’t sure whether the rind could be eaten raw. However, we are hooked and will be buying it again!

The subtle touch of lavender easy on the palate great with the sour dough crackers, always a favourite of family and friends
